A busy time

I've had such a busy time since the previous post!

Over the Christmas holidays, I presided over backstage comings and goings for the annual Harbour Theatre Christmas Extravaganza. The most magical thing happened at opening night. It was a packed and responsive house, but we all stepped out into a snowy fairytale world as we emerged from the theatre.

I've begun a 15 week Screenwriting Course, with weekly group study/feedback sessions with Dallas Allison, another local aspiring Screenwriter. I already have a first draft but that was begun over 20 years ago and needs to be brought more into present times.

My artwork has been on hold lately, as I ponder, some new themes.

I started the New Year with a weeklong songwriting challenge from. Michael Averill. It always sets a positive tone for the coming year. Seven prompts; Seven lyrics. I don't yet have music for all of them. Most.

I received a gift of a new, upgraded microphone for Christmas and have since added a boom mic for recording an instrument. Broadening my musical horizons.

All this plus making some pretty fun recipes. Chicken tagine, .mushroom Wellington, cream of mushroom soup…

Anyway. Hope this finds you well. I’ll write more in this coming month.

Cheers!
